ہر دِل وفورِ درد سے ہے بے قرار دیکھ
ہر آنکھ فرطِ غم سے ہے خوں نابہ بار دیکھ

ہاں، اِس میں نیک و بد کی نہیں ہے کوئی تمیز
ہر شخص ہے ہلاکِ غمِ روزگار دیکھ

اِنساں کہ کُشتۂ سِتمِ بے حساب ہے
ہے شاہکارِ صنعتِ پروردگار دیکھ

فکرِ جہاں کے ساتھ جہنّم کا خوف بھی
کِن آفتوں میں ہے دِلِ ناکردہ کار دیکھ

اِن میں خزاں کا رنگ بھی شامِل ضرور ہے
گہری نظر سے نقش و نِگارِ بہار دیکھ

تخریب ہے اُصول جہانِ خراب کا
ہر ذرّہ ہے فساد کا آئینہ دار دیکھ

لِللہ تجھ کو دیدۂ بینا کا واسطہ

हर आँख फ़र्त-ए ग़म से है ख़ूं-नाबा बार देख

हाँ इस में नेक ओ बद कि नहीं है कोई तमीज़
हर शख़्स है हलाक-ए ग़म-ए रोज़गार देख

इन्सां के कुश्ता-ए सितम-ए बे-हिसाब है
है शाहकार-ए सन’अत-ए परवरदिगार देख

फ़िक्र-ए जहां के साथ जहन्नुम का ख़ौफ़ भी
किन आफ़तौं में है दिल-ए नाकर्दागार देख

इन में ख़िज़ां का रंग भी शामिल ज़रूर है
गहरी नज़र से नक़्श ओ निगार-ए बहार देख

तख़्रीब है उसूल जहान-ए ख़राब का
हर ज़र्रा है फ़साद का आईना-दार देख

लिल्लाह तुझ को दीदा-ए बीना का वास्ता

Every heart is restless with excess of pain. Every eye rains tears of blood with great sorrow.

This human, who is prey of innumerable cruelties is supposed to be the masterpiece of the creation of god.

The fear of punishment in hell on top of the worry of daily life in this world – look at how many calamities have befallen this ineffective heart.

Destruction is the normal way of this world. Every grain of sand reflects/shows the tumult it has gone through.

aye muddaii5 rahmat6-e parvardigaar7 dekh 1.for god’s sake 2.eye 3.seeing, discriminating, refined 4.in the name of 5.one who prays, beggar 6.benevolence 7.god
For god’s sake, in the name of your discriminating eye, look at the ‘benevolence’ of god (and you will see how useless it is to pray).
