آسمانی لوریاں ۔ مخدوم محی الدین

 

روزِ روشن جا چکا، ہیں شام کی تیاریاں

اُڑ رہی ہیں آسماں پر زعفرانی ساریاں

شام رخصت ہو رہی ہے رات کا منہ چومکر

ہو رہی ہیں چرخ پر تاروں میں کچھ سرگوشیاں

 

جلوے ہیں بیتاب پردے سے نکلنے کیلئے

بن سنورکر آ رہی ہیں آسماں کی رانیاں

نو عروسِ شب نے پہنا ہے لباسِ فاخرہ

آسمانی پیرہن میں کہکشانی دھاریاں

 

کار  چوبی  شامیانے میں رچی بزمِ نشاط

ساز  نے انگڑائی لی بجنے لگی ہیں تالیاں

لاجوردی فرش پر ہے مشتری زہرہ کا رقص

نیل تن کرشن کے   پہلو میں مچلتی گو پیاں

 

دست و پا کی نرم و خوش آہنگ ہلکی جنبشیں

یا  فضا میں نا چتی  ہیں  گنگناتی  بجلیاں

سرمدی  نغمات سے ساری فضا معمور ہے

نطقِ ربِّ  ذوالمنن  ہیں  رات کی  خاموشیاں

 

نیند سی آنکھوں میں آتی ہے جھکا جاتا ہے سر

سنُ رہا تھا دیر  سے میں آسمانی لوریاں

रोज़ ए रौशन जा चुका, हैं शाम की तय्यारियां

उड़ रही हैं आसमां पर ज़ाफ़रानी सारियां

शाम रूख़सत हो रही है रात का मुंह चूम कर

हो रही हैं चर्ख़ पर तारों में कुच्छ सरगोशियां

 

जलवे हैं बेताब पर्दे से निकलने के लिये

बन संवर कर आ रही हैं आसमां की रानियाँ

नौ उरूस ए शब ने पहना है लिबास ए फ़ाख़िरा

आसमानी पैरहन में कहकशानी धारियां

 

कारचोबी शामियाने में रची बज़्म ए निशात

साज़ ने अंगड़ाई ली बजने लगी हैं तालियाँ

लाजवार्दी फ़र्श पर है मुश्तरी ज़ोहरा का रक़्स

नील तन कृष्ण के पहलू में मचलती गोपियाँ

 

दस्त ओ पा की नर्म ओ ख़ुश आहंग हल्की जुंबिशें

या फ़िज़ा में नाचती गुनगुनाती बिजलियाँ

सरमदी नग़मात से सारी फ़िज़ा मामूर है

नुत्क़ ए रब्ब ए ज़ुल्मनन हैं रात की ख़ामोशियाँ

 

नींद सी आँखों में आती है झुका जाता है सर

सुन रहा हूँ देर से मैं आसमानी लोरियां

The bright day done, now is the readying for the night. The sunset looks as if the sky is clad in waves and waves of saffron-hued saris. Dusk says goodbye to the evening with a kiss of longing and the stars in the sky just emerging and at times disappearing, seem to be whispering to each other.

Beauties are now impatient to cast off their veils. The empresses of the night sky are arriving all decked up. The night, with the lights coming on looks like a new bride, donning a glorious ensemble, her blue robe has stripes of brilliant constellations.

The sky, like an embroidered canopy hosts the assembly of joy, as if the orchestra wakes up and stretches to great applause. Mars and Venus in a bridal dance on the azure floor. The blue sky like Krishn surrounded by gopis.
