نغمہائے عندلیبانِ چمن
مانگتے ہیں تجھ سے حُسنِ دلبری
آج بھی تو زمزمہ پرداز ہے
سازِ اُردو میں تری آواز ہے

تیرے ساغر میں جہانِ رنگ و بو
تیری مستی صوفیوں کی آبرو
تیری شوخی منزلِ فکرِ جمیل
تیری یکتائی مُسَلّم چار سو
سجدہ گاہِ شاعری تیرا کلام
نظمِ فطرت بھی کرے جس کو سلام

زینتِ بزمِ سخن جادو بیاں
فکر تیری قدسیوں کی ترجماں
اِنقلابِ وقت کرتا ہے سلام
مرحبا اے عاشقِ اُردو زباں
رازِ عظمت تو نے اِفشا کر دیا
قطرۂ دریا کو دریا کر دیا

رفعتِ پرواز تیری الاماں

नज़्म-ए फ़ितरत भी करे जिस को सलाम
