بار  بار  آتے  رہو  ۔  جگن  ناتھ  آزاد

ائے  ہمارے  دوستانِ  ذی  وقار  آتے  رہو

دردِ  شاعر  سے  ہو  واقف  کون  شاعر  کے  سوا

تم  ہماری  روح  کا  بن  کر  قرار  آتے  رہو

ہم  سخنور  ہیں  ہماری  قدر  و  قیمت  تم  سے  ہے

قدر  و  قیمت  کے  زرِ  خالص  عیار  آتے  رہو

دیدہ  و  دِل  ہم  بچھائیں  گے  تمہاری  راہ  میں

دوستوں  کی  محفلوں  میں  بار  بار  آتے  رہو

ہم  “ز  تو  گامے  ز  ما  چشمے”  کے    ہیں  معنی  شناس

تم  پہ  بھی  یہ  رمز  ہے  گر  آشکار  آتے  رہو

محفلوں  کی  آبرو  کے  مایہ  دار  آتے  رہو

جس  کی  ضو  میں  جگمگا  اُٹّھیں  خزانے  شعر  کے

لے  کے  دامن  میں  وہ  دُرِ  شاہوار  آتے  رہو

دوستو  اُردو  کی  اِنساں  دوستی  کا  فیض  ہے

کشورِ  ہندوستاں  میں  بار  بار  آتے  رہو

बार बार आते रहो – जगन नाथ आज़ाद

हिंदोस्ताँ मेण मुना’क़िड पहले हिंद-पाक मुशायरे के मौक़े पर

ले के नघ्ह्मौण के गुलिस्ताण का निखार आते रहो

इस चमन मेण सूरत-ए फास्ल-ए बहार आते रहो

सरज़मीं-ए हिंद है शी’र ओ अदब का गुल्सिताण

गुल्सिताण मेण तुम मिसाल-ए जू-ए बार आते रहो

रूह को गरमाने वाला दर्द सीने में लिए

अए हमारे दोस्तान-ए ज़ी विक़ार आते रहो

दर्द-ए शा’एर से हो वाक़िफ़ कौन शा’एर के सिवा

तुम हमारी रूह का बन कर क़रार आते रहो

हम सुख़न वर हैं हमारी क़द्र ओ क़ीमत तुम से है

क़द्र ओ क़ीमत के ज़र-ए ख़ालिस अयार आते रहो

दीदा ओ दिल हम बिछाएंगे तुम्हारी राह में

दोस्तौं कि महफ़िलों में बार बार आते रहो

हम “ज़ तू गामे ज़ मा चश्मे” के हैं मा’नी शिनास

तुम पे भी ये रम्ज़ है गर आश्कार आते रहो

तुम से है क़ा’एम हमारी महफ़िलों की आबरू

महफ़िलों की आबरू के मायादार आते रहो

जिस की ज़ौ से जगमगा उट्ठें ख़ज़ाने शे’र के

ले के दामन में वो दुर्र-ए शाहवार आते रहो

He has written with much passion about hindu-muslim and India-pakistan accord. He also composed tributes and several Ghazal in the style of Ghalib. He lived in a lahore for a few months after partition before migrating to India. This nazm/Ghazal was read on the occasion of the first Indo-Pak mushaa’era organized in India
