آنکھوں میں نورِ جلوۂ بے کیف و کم ہے خاص

جب سے نظر  پہ اُن کی نگاہِ کرم ہے خاص

 

کچھ ہم کو بھی عطا ہو کہ ہے حضرتِ کرشن

اِقلیمِ عشق آپ کے زیرِ قدم ہے خاص

 

حسرت کی بھی قبول ہو متھرا میں حاضری

سُنتے ہیں عاشقوں پہ تمہارا کرم ہے خاص

عرفانِ عشق نام ہے میرے مقام کا

حامل ہوں کس کے نغمۂ نئے کے  پیام کا

 

متھرا سے اہلِ دِل کو وہ آتی ہے بوُئے اُنس

دُنیائے جاں میں شور ہے جِس کے دوام کا

 

مخلوق اِک نِگاہِ کرم کی اُمیدوار

مستانہ کر رہی ہے بھجن رادھے شیام کا

 

محبوب کی تلاش ہوئی رہبرِ مُحِب

برسانے سے جو قصد کیا نند گام کا

 

گوکُل کی سرزمیں بھی عزیزِ جہاں بنی

کلمہ پڑھا جو اُن کی محبّت کے نام کا

 

برندا کا بن بھی روُ کشِ جنّت بنا کہ تھا

پامالِ ناز اُنھیں کے بہارِ خرام کا

 

لبریزِ نور ہے دِلِ حسرت زہے نصیب

اِک حسنِ مشک فام کے شوقِ تمام کا

متھرا کہ نگر ہے عاشقی کا

دم بھرتی ہے آرزو اُسی کا

 

ہر ذرّۂ سرزمینِ گوکُل

دارا ہے جمالِ دِلبری کا

 

برسانہ و نند گاؤں میں بھی

دیکھ آئے ہیں جلوہ ہم کِسی کا

 

پیغامِ حیاتِ جاوداں تھا

ہر نغمہ کرشن بانسری کا

 

وہ نورِ سیاہ تھا کہ حسرت

سر چشمہ فروغِ آگہی کا

क्रिश्न भक्ति – हस्रत मोहानी

 

आंखौं में नूर-ए जल्वा-ए बे-कैफ़ ओ कम है ख़ास

जब से नज़र पे उन कि निगाह-ए करम है ख़ास

 

कुछ हम को भी अता हो के अए हज़रत-ए क्रिश्न

इक़्लीम-ए इश्क़ आप के ज़ेर-ए क़दम है ख़ास

 

हस्रत कि भी क़ुबूल हो मथ्रा में हाज़री

सुनते हैं आशिक़ौं पे तुम्हारा करम है ख़ास

 

इरफ़ान-ए इश्क़ नाम है मेरे मक़ाम का

हामिल हूं किस के नग़्मा-ए नै के पयाम का

 

मथरा से अहल-ए दिल को वो आती है बू-ए उन्स

दुनिया-ए जां में शोर है जिस के दवाम का

 

मख़्लूक़ एक निगाह-ए करम कि उमीदवार

मस्ताना कर रही है भजन राधे श्याम का

 

महबूब कि तलाश हुई रहबर-ए मोहिब्ब

बरसाने से जो क़स्द किया नन्द गाम का

 

गोकुल कि सरज़मीं भी अज़ीज़-ए जहां बनी

कलमा पढ़ा जो उन कि मोहब्बत के नाम का

 

ब्रिंदा का बन भी रू-कश-ए जन्नत बना के था

पामाल-ए नाज़ उन्हीं के बहार-ए ख़िराम का

 

लब्रेज़-ए नूर है दिल-ए हस्रत, ज़हे नसीब

एक हुस्न-ए मुश्क-फ़ाम के शौक़-ए तमाम का

 

मथरा, के नगर है आशेक़ी का

दम भरती है आरज़ू उसी का

 

हर ज़र्रा-ए सरज़मीन-ए गोकुल

दारा है जमाल-ए दिलबरी का

 

बरसाना ओ नन्द गाम में भी

देख आए हैं जल्वा हम किसी का

 

पैग़ाम-ए हयात-ए जावेदां था

हर नग़्मा क्रिश्न बांसरी का

 

वो नूर-ए सियाह था के हस्रत

सर चश्मा फ़रोग़-ए आगही का

He went to hajj several times as well as to baGhdaad, najaf and karbala on pilgrimage. What is unusual is that he also did pilgrimages to mathura and nandgaam several times and wrote Ghazal style paens to krishn as well bhajans in the style of meera baaii. He also wrote bhajan style paeans to sufi scholars/saints in colloquial language. At the same time he declared himself to be a socialist/communist.
