माएल-ए-हिजाब है आज – सीमाब अकबराबादी

 

इश्क़ ख़ुद माएल-ए-हिजाब है आज

हुस्न मजबूर-ए-इज़्तेराब है आज

नाला-ए दिल को दिल से लाग नहीं

नग़्मा आज़ुर्दा-ए रबाब है आज

मै-कदा ग़म-कदा है तेरे बग़ैर

सर-निगूँ शीशा-ए-शराब है आज

बज़्म-ए आलम को फ़ुर्सत-ए अंजाम

मेरी निय्यत में इन्क़ेलाब है आज

मुतग़य्यर है आलम-ए-जज़्बात

कौन इस दिल में बारयाब है आज

ज़िंदगी जिस में साँस लेती थी

वो ज़माना ख़याल-ओ-ख़्वाब है आज

मिट गए दिल के वलवले सीमाब

ख़त्म अफ़साना-ए-शबाब है आज
