یہ شہریار کا عالم فریبِ حکمِ سجود
یہ سلطنت کے فرامینِ شیطنت آلود
یہ عزّ و جاہ کی دُنیا میں مسکنِ مردود
سیاست اہلِ جہاں کی فریبِ نام و نمود
چل آ سیاستِ اہلِ جہاں سے جنگ کریں

میں ایک شیر نیستاں شغال سے بھی حقیر
فریبِ اہلِ زمانہ کے دام میں ہوں اسیر
مرے لہو سے ہیں پلتے وزیرِ بے تدبیر
سیاست اہلِ جہاں کی مرے لہو کی خمیر
چل آ سیاستِ اہلِ جہاں سے جنگ کریں

خِرد کا شعبدہ صورت گرِ ہزار آئیں
خِرد کے در پہ مشقّت کی سجدہ ریز جبیں
خِرد زمانے کی وحشت طرازیوں کی امیں
سیاست اہلِ جہاں کی خِرد کا دامِ حسیں
چل آ سیاستِ اہلِ جہاں سے جنگ کریں

چل آ حقیقتِ قلبِ تپاں بدل ڈالیں
چل آ حسابِ دِلِ دوستاں بدل ڈالیں
خموشیٔ غم و دردِ نہاں بدل ڈالیں

جو گر رہی ہے عمارت سنبھل ہی جائے گی
مصیبتِ سرِ مزدور ٹل ہی جائے گی
