بشر کیونکر لکھے شانِ مسیحا

خدا جب ہے ثنا خوانِ مسیحا

زمانہ غم پہ غم دے تو بھی خوش ہوں

کہ جان و دِل ہیں قربانِ مسیحا

بُھلا سکتا نہیں میں بھول کر بھی

خدا کا حکم فرمانِ مسیحا

مرے حق میں ہے مرگ و زیست یکساں

بہر عالم ہوں مہمانِ مسیحا

نہ کھُل جائے میرے عیبوں کا پردہ

چھُپا لے بڑھ کے دامانِ مسیحا

مِلا ہے گر مرا دِل اُس کے دِل سے

تو میری جان ہے جانِ مسیحا

فنا ہوگی نہ میری ذات مر کر

مِرے بدلے گئی جانِ مسیحا

مرا فِدیہ چُکایا جان دے کر

مرے سر پر ہے احسانِ مسیحا

نہ غم کھا آئے دِن روزی کا نادر

کھِلائے گا تجھے خوانِ مسیحا

ख़ुदा जब है सना-ख़्वान-ए मसीहा

ज़माना ग़म पे ग़म दे तो भी ख़ुश हूं

के जां ओ दिल हैं क़ुर्बान-ए मसीहा

भुला सकता नहीं मैं भूल कर भी

ख़ुदा का हुक्म फ़रमान-ए मशीहा

मेरे हक़ में है मर्ग ओ ज़ीस्त यकसां

बहर आलम हूं मेहमान-ए मसीहा

न खुल जाए मेरे ऐबौं का परदा

छुपा ले बढ़ के दामान-ए मसीहा

मिला है गर मेरा दिल उस के दिल से

तो मेरी जान है जान-ए मसीहा

फ़ना होगी न मेरी ज़ात मर कर

मेरे बदले गई जान-ए मसीहा

मेरा फ़िदिया चुकाया जान दे कर

मेरे सर पर है एहसान-ए मसीहा

न ग़म खा आए दिन रोज़ी का नादिर

खिलाएगा तुझे ख़्वान-ए मसीहा

The word n’aat is usually used for a poem in praise of mohammed. The poet uses it here for the praise of Jesus.

na khul jaaye mere aibauN1 ka parda
chhupa le baRh ke daamaan2-e maseeha

Lest my sins be revealed, may the robe of Jesus come and hide them/offer me forgiveness.

mila hai gar1 mera dil us ke dil se
to meri jaan hai jaan-e maseeha

If my heart were to join with his heart (if I desire that which he desires), then my soul will merge with the soul of Jesus.

fana1 hogi na meri zaat2 mar kar
mere badle3 gaii jaan-e maseeha

My person/soul will not be consigned to non-existence. Jesus gave his life to save me.

He paid (the fine) for my sins. I am under an obligation to Jesus.

khilaayega tujhe Khwaan3-e maseeha

Do not worry about your daily livelihood, O nadir. The feast spread by Jesus will feed you.
