نذرِ فیض ۔ فہمیدہ ریاض
یہ ماتمِ وقت کی گھڑی ہے
یہ مرحلہ بوئے گُل سا نازک
یہ ساعت عرقِ سال و مہ کی
یہ وصلِ مُدام کی گھڑی ہے
اے درد بہ دوش، خانہ برباد
جادہ نہ ترا، نہ کوئی منزل
جُز دیدۂ آب گوں وطن کے
جُز خلقِ وطن کا خونچکاں دِل
ڈالے ہیں جہاں جہاں پڑاؤ
تھیں خیمہ فگن وہی نگاہیں
سانسوں کی طرح پلٹ کے آئیں
اِس محبس میں تری صدائیں
تم سُرخ محل میں آ براجے
بے سود رہی نگاہ داری
تھا پارۂ شعر پُرزۂ جاں
پروانۂ حقِّ راہداری
اب یوں ہے کہ ہر عدو سے محفوظ
باہر شب خوں کی دسترس سے
مامون حِصارِ عاشقاں میں
تُم منزل پا چکے ہو کب کے
اب آؤ نہ جاؤگے کہیں تم
اے در بہ دری میں رشکِ انجم
کیا سخت غنیم پر پڑی ہے
یہ وقتِ مدام کی گھڑی ہے

जादा न तेरा, न कोई मंज़िल
जुज़ दीदा-ए आब-गूं वतन के
जुज़ ख़ल्क़-ए वतन का खूंचकां दिल
डाले हैं जहां जहां पड़ाऊ
थीं ख़ैमा-फ़िगन वही निगाहें
सांसौं की तरह पलट के आएं
इस मोहबस में तेरी सदाएं
तुम सुर्ख़ महल में आ बिराजे
बे-सूद रही निगाह-दारी
था पारा-ए शेर पुर्ज़ा-ए जां
परवाना-ए हक़्क़-ए राहदारी
अब युं है के हर उदू से महफ़ूज़
बाहिर शबखूं कि दस्तरस से
मामून हिसार-ए आशिक़ान् में
तुम मंज़िल पा चुके हो कब के
अब आओ न जाओ गे कहीं तुम
अए दर-ब-दरी में रश्क-ए अंजुम
क्या सख़्त ग़नीम पर पड़ी है
ये वक़्त-ए मुदाम की घड़ी है

Now, you are safe from all enemies, beyond the reach of vicious attacks, content among a circle of admirers, you have reached your destination.

faiz was jailed and banished several times by several regimes. fahmida riaz calls this his wandering, saying that he was the envy of the stars in his wandering (using the rotation of the stars as a metaphor). Now, you will not come and go again, you who have been the envy of the stars. Your enemy has been defeated because you are beyond his reach. This is a moment of timeless perpetuity.
