tanhaaii – faiz

tanhaaii – faiz ahmed faiz

Click here for overall comments and on any passage for meanings and discussion. This feels like it was written while Faiz was in prison, in solitary confinement. But it is a part of “naqsh-e faryaadi”, his first book, which was written before he went to prison. It could well be the loneliness of his struggle for equality. Read this together with “sannaaTa” of maKhdoom.
