Listening to my rebellious songs, the world assumes that perhaps I hate songs of love, that I find comfort in the sound of war and conflict, that by nature I am inclined towards stories of bloodshed, that in my world there is no respect for song and dance, that my favourite song is the melody of the cry of rebellion.

I am a poet and I love the beauty of nature. I cannot hate songs of love. Nature has granted feelings and passions of human-ness. My goal cannot only be songs of revolution. I am young and youth is a storm of passionate trials. My words cannot have a sheen of self-righteousness.

If there is a reason for my rebellious songs, it is that whenever I see starving peasants, the poor, the deprived, the helpless and the forgotten, aggrieved maidens and distressed young men, rags on one side and royal treasures on the other, then my heart cannot bear the burden of pleasure and comfort. Even if I try, I cannot sing romantic songs.
