The moon is rising – just above the horizon. It is as if the hand of the horizon is holding a cup (moon is likened to a cup). From this cup, wine overflows in the shape of moonlight. It is as if the saaqi of the sky (god?) holding a cup in his hand (is offering wine) and I am stone drunk with joy. There is no worry of hell, nor any thought of heaven. It is just me and your sweet countenance.
