حسین لشکرِ باطل کا غم نہیں کرتا
حسین عزم ہے ماتھے کو خم نہیں کرتا
حسین ظلم کے مارے ہوؤں کا مامن ہے
حسین زندگیِ بے سکوں کا مسکن ہے

حسین حُسنِ پیمبر کی ضو کو کہتے ہیں
حسین سینۂ حیدر کی لو کو کہتے ہیں
سحر کی دھوپ اُتاری ہر آشیانے میں
لہو سے جس نے اُجالا کیا زمانے میں

حسین سلسلۂ جاوداں ہے رحمت کا
حسین نقطۂ معراج ہے رسالت کا
یقیں کی ظرب، ہر اِک پیکرِ کماں کے لئے
حسین برق ہے باطل کے آشیاں کے لئے

حسین جذبۂ آزادیِ ہر آدم ہے
حسین حُرّیتِ زندگی کا پرچم ہے
حسین عزم کو جب تابناک کرتا ہے
جلا کے خِرمنِ باطل کو خاک کرتا ہے

پیامِ رحمتِ حق ہے پیامِ شبّیری
ہر ایک پیاسے کو ملتا ہے جامِ شبّیری
حسین عزم ہے نمرود سے بغاوت کا
حسین سے نہ اُٹھانا سوال بیعت کا

دِلِ حسین کی گرمی سے دِل مچلتے ہیں
اُس اِک چراغ سے لاکھوں چراغ جلتے ہیں
حسین سعیٔ تجلّی میں کامیاب ہوا
لہو میں ڈوب کے اُبھرا تو آفتاب ہوا

حسین صبح جہاں تاب کی علامت ہے
حسین ہی کو بُھلا دیں تو کیا قیامت ہے
بروزِ حشر نشاطِ دوام بخشے گا
حسین درشنِؔ تشنہ کو جام بخشے گا

हुसैन अस्ल में दीन-ए ख़ुदा को कहते हैं
हुसैन हौस्ला-ए इन्क़ेलाब देता है
हुसैन शम’अ नहीं आफ़्ताब देता है

हुसैन लश्कर-ए बातिल का ग़म नहीं करता
हुसैन अज़्म है माथे को ख़म नहीं करता
हुसैन ज़ुल्म के मारे हुऔं का मामन है
हुसैन ज़िन्दगी है, सुकूं का मिस्कन है

हुसैन हुस्न-ए पैअम्बर कि ज़ौ को कहते हैं
हुसैन सीना-ए हैदर कि लौ को कहते हैं
सहर कि धुप उतारी हर आशियाने में
लहू से जिस ने उजाला किया ज़माने में

हुसैन नुक़्ता-ए मे’राज है रिसालत का

हुसैन हुर्रियत-ए ज़िन्दगी का परचम है

पयाम-ए रहमत-ए हक़ है पयाम-ए शब्बीरी
हर एक प्यासे को मिल्ता है जाम-ए शब्बीरी
हुसैन अज़्म है नम्रूद से बग़ावत का
हुसैन से न उठाना सवाल बै’अत का

दिल-ए हुसैन कि गरमी से दिल मचलते हैं
उस के एक चिराग़ से लाखों चिराग़ जलते हैं
हुसैन स’ई-ए तजल्ली में कामियाब हुआ
लहू में डूब के उभरा तो आफ़्ताब हुआ

हुसैन सुबह जहां-ताब कि अलामत है
हुसैन ही को भील दें तो क्या क़यामत है
ब-रोज़-ए हश्र निशात-ए दवाम बख़्शेगा
हुसैन दर्शन-ए तिश्ना को जाम बख़्शेगा

husain is every man’s love of freedom. He is the emblem of liberty of life. This is probably a reference to husain’s steadfast stand about his rights for which he was willing to forfeit his life. His fiery determination set the harvest of evil on fire, burning it to ashes.
