۱

1.separated 2.study, analysis
The literal word meaning is simple enough. But I think that he is very carefully taking a did at the ‘received book’ and strict orthodoxy. I have been separated but I still remember it. I have discarded the ‘book’ but continue to study/analyze it i.e., rational thinking is preferable over blind reverence.

Why would they say that there should be peace between the two, they who earn a living through our war. I would like to think that he is talking about India and pakistan and of the military class that wants to maintain a state of conflict. The same can also apply to the big powers and the military industrial complex.
