کلیوں کی بیداری – جوش  ملیحا بادی

 

ہر اک کلی پھول بن رہی ہے، ہر ایک خوشہ جھلک رہا ہے

مچل رہی ہے نسیمِ    بستاں، تمام  صحرا مہک رہا    ہے

کلاہِ نو  کج  کیے ہوے ہے، ہلال تاروں کی انجمن میں

کھلا  ہوا  ہے  فلک  کا سینہ  زمیں کا  غنچہ  چٹک رہا ہے

 

ٹپک  رہی ہے گلوں سےشبنم  لچک رہیں ہیں ادا سے شاخیں

ہر  اک کلی تال دے رہی ہے، ہر ایک طایر چہک رہا ہے

لپیٹے منھ سو رہیں تھیں کلیاں، صبا نے آ   کر جو  گدگدایا

سرک گےٰ ہیں سروں سے آنچل تمام گلشن مہک رہا ہے

कलियौं की बेदारी – जोश मलीहाबादी

 

हर एक कलि फूल बन रही है, हर एक ख़ोशा झलक रहा है
मचल रही है नसीम ए बुस्तां, तमाम सहरा महक रहा है
कुलाह ए नौ कज किये हुए है हिलाल तारों की अंजुमन में
खुला हुआ है फ़लक का सीना ज़मीं का ग़ुंचा चिटक रहा है

 

टपक रही है गुलों से शब्नम, लचक रहीं हैं अदा से शाख़ें
हर एक कलि ताल दे रही है, हर एक ताएर चहक रहा है
लपेटे मुंह सो रहीं थीं कलियाँ, सबा ने आकर जो गुदगुदाया
सरक गए हैं सरों से आँचल, तमाम गुलशन महक रहा है

kulah e nau7 kaj kiye8 hue hai hilaal9 taaroN ki anjuman10 meN
khula hua hai falak11 ka seena zamiN ka Ghuncha12 chiTak13 raha hai

Every blossom is blooming, every bough waves supple. The breeze is restless, the whole garden redolent. The new moon is defiant in the assembly of stars, the sky clear and the earth blossoming in the dawn.

Dew drips from flowers, with every playful dance of boughs. Every blossom dances to the beat of birdsong. Buds were asleep, heads covered and as the breeze blew in to tickle them, their veils slipped off their heads (they bloomed into flowers) making the whole garden redolent.
