idhar bhi zindagi afsaana2-e Gham hoti jaati hai
1.intensity 2.fable, story
Normally ‘idhar’ and ‘udhar’ refers to the lover and beloved, but here it seems it is two different sides of the poet himself. Thus, even as the intensity of love reduces on one side, on the other side his life is becoming a story of pain. If the intensity of love is reducing you would expect pain to reduce, but the opposite seems to be happening.

When the heart is passionate, it is very difficult to be patient, but praise be to my madness, I keep getting more and more indifferent to what the world thinks. Thus, he is not worried about the world and does not need to be patient; he can let his passion play fully in the open.

My madness is the result of feelings in my heart. That is why even in happiness I shed tears.

O rashk, how long can it bear; one day it will surely break; lifting the burden of old age, the back keeps getting bent. Here ‘rashk’ has a pleasant double meaning – pen-name of the poet and bearing the burden of envy. Said qamar jalalavi …
