اے  جہاں  دیکھ  لے  کب  سے  بے  گھر  ہیں  ہم

اب  نکل  آئے  ہیں  لے  کے  اپنا  علم

یہ  محلّات  یہ  اونچے  اونچے  مکاں

ان  کی  بنیاد  میں  ہے  ہمارا  لہو

کل  جو  مہمان  تھے  گھر  کے  مالک  بنے

شاہ  بھی  ہے  عدو  شیخ  بھی  ہے  عدو

کب  تلک  ہم  سہیں  غاصبوں  کے  ستم

اے  جہاں  دیکھ  لے  کب  سے  بے  گھر  ہیں  ہم

اب  نکل  آئے  ہیں  لے  کے  اپنا  علم

اتنا  سادہ  نہ  بن  تجھ  کو  معلوم  ہے

کون  گھیرے  ہوئے  ہے  فلسطین  کو

آج  کُھل  کے  یہ  نعرہ  لگا  اے  جہاں

قاتلو  رہزنو  یہ  زمیں  چھوڑ  دو

ہم  کو  لڑنا  ہے  جب  تک  کہ  دم  میں  ہے  دم

اے  جہاں  دیکھ  لے  کب  سے  بے  گھر  ہیں  ہم

اب  نکل  آئے  ہیں  لے  کے  اپنا  علم

कौन घेरे हुए है फ़िलिस्तीन को – हबीब जालिब

अए जहां देख ले कब से बे-घर हैं हम

अब निकल आए हैं ले के अपना अलम

ये महलात ये ऊंचे ऊंचे मकां

इन की बुनियाद में है हमारा लहू

कल जो मेहमान थे घर के मालिक बने

शाह भी है अदू, शैख़ भी है अदू

कब तलक हम सहें ग़सिबौं के सितम

अए जहां देख ले कब से बे-घर हैं हम

अब निकल आए हैं ले के अपना अलम

इतना सादा न बन तुझ को मालुम है

कौन घेरे हुए है फ़िलिस्तीन को

आज खुल के ये ना’रा लगा अए जहां

क़ातिलो, रहज़नो, ये ज़मीं छोढ दो

हम को लढना है जब तक के दम में है दम

अए जहां देख ले कब से बे-घर हैं हम

अब निकल आए हैं ले के अपना अलम

inn ki buniyaad2 meN hai hamaara lahuu3
kal jo mehmaan4 thay ghar kay maalik banay
shaah bhi hai adu5, shaiKh bhi hai adu   
1.palaces 2.foundation 3.blood 4.guests 5.opposed, enemy
These palaces, these tall buildings; their foundation is soaked in our blood. Those who were our guests yesterday, have taken over our home. The shaah and shaiKh are both opposed to us.

ab nikal aa’e haN le ke apna alam6

How long can we bear the oppression of the invaders/usurpers. O world, see how long we have been homeless. We have come out now carrying our banner.

Don’t be such a simpleton, you know, who is occupying Palestine. O world, give an open call today – O killers and robbers, leave this land.
