He did have an MA, but I could not figure out what it was in. He was a shaagird of josh malsiani and composed Ghazal, nazm and rubaaii with two published collections with the second one dated 1981. I tried to find out how he came to urdu, but could not. This Ghazal composed in the zamin of Ghalib’s ‘ibn-e mariam hua kare koii’ is linked to ‘Ghalib naqsh-e qadam’.

Thus his regret, why should anyone remain in steadfast in love and earn the anger of the whole world.
