مہکے  ہوئے  گلاب  ہیں  میری  غزل  کے  شعر

جذبات  کی  کتاب  ہیں  میری  غزل  کے  شعر

مطلع  میں  اک  نشہ  ہے  تو  مقطع  ہے  جیسے  جام

میرے  لیے  شراب  ہیں  میری  غزل  کے  شعر

شرما  کے  جھانکتے  ہوئے  مصروں  سے  میرے  لفظ

اُس  حسن  کا  حجاب  ہے  میری  غزل  کے  شعر

اردو  کو  کہہ  رہے  ہیں  جو  مسلم  کی  ہی  زباں

اُن  کے  لیے  جواب  ہیں  میری  غزل  کے  شعر

نقّادِ  پُر  حسد  کریں  تنقید  صد  ہزار

پھر  بھی  تو  کامیاب  ہیں  میری  غزل  کے  شعر

اُن  پر  نہیں  ہے  جسم  کی  پیری  کا  کچھ  اثر

اب  بھی  تو  پُر  شباب  ہیں  میری  غزل  کے  شعر

خالص  غمِ  جہاں  یہاں،  خالص  غمِ  فراق

پورے  طلائے  ناب  ہیں  میری  غزل  کے  شعر

پڑھتا  ہوں  با  ادب  انہیں  شائستہ  بزم  میں

بس  لکھنوی  نواب  ہیں  میری  غزل  کے  شعر

मेरी ग़ज़ल के शे’र – अजय पांडे सहाब

महके हुए गुलाब हैं मेरी ग़ज़ल के शे’र

जज़्बात की किताब हैं मेरी ग़ज़ल के शे’र

मत्ले में एक नशा हैं तो मक़्तआ है जैसे जाम

मेरे लिए शराब हैं मेरी ग़ज़ल के शे’र

शरमा के झाँकते हुए मिसरौं से मेरे लफ़्ज़

उस हुस्न का हिजाब हैं मेरी ग़ज़ल के शे’र

उर्दू को कह रहे हैं जो मुस्लिम कि ही ज़बां

उन के लिए जवाब हैं मेरी ग़ज़ल के शे’र

नक़्क़ाद-ए पुर-हसद करें तन्क़ीद सद-हज़ार

फिर भी तो कामयाब हैं मेरी ग़ज़ल के शे’र

उन पर नहीं है जिस्म की पीरी का कुछ असर

अब भी तो पुर-शबाब है मेरी ग़ज़ल के शे’र

ख़ालिस ग़म-ए जहाँ यहाँ, ख़ालिस ग़म-ए फ़िराक़

पूरे तिला-ए नाब हैं मेरी ग़ज़ल के शे’र

पढ़ता हुं बा-अदब इन्हें शा’एस्ता बज़्म में

बस लखनवी नवाब हैं मेरी ग़ज़ल के शे’र

A veil of divine beauty are the verse of my Ghazal

unn ke liye javaab3 haiN meri Ghazal ke she’r  
1.only 2.language 3.answer
Those who say that urdu is only the language of muslims
For them an answer are the verse of my Ghazal

naqqaad1-e pur-hasad2 kareN tanqiid3 sad-hazaar4
phir bhi to kaamyaab5 haiN meri Ghazal ke she’r   
1.critic 2.full of envy 3.critique, criticism 4.hundred thousand 5.successful
The envious critic may heap a hundred thousand criticisms
But still successful and well liked are the verse of my Ghazal

unn par nahiN hai jism1 ki piiri2 ka kuchh asar3
ab bhi to pur-shabaab4 haiN meri Ghazal ke she’r   
1.body 2.old age 3.effect 4.full of youth
They do not lose their charm because of age
Forever youthful are the verse of my Ghazal

Khaalis1 Gham-e jahaaN2 yahaaN, Khaalis Gham-e firaaq3
pooray tilaa4-e naab5 haiN meri Ghazal ke she’r   
1.pure, unadulterated 2.world 3.separation, exile 4.gold 5.pure
Undisguised altruism, or sorrow of separation from the beloved
Shining like pure gold are the verse of my Ghazal

bas lakhnavi navaab haiN meri Ghazal ke she’r
