سنپولوں کو رکھتے تھے جن میں چھپا کر
اب ان آستینوں میں بم دیکھتے ہیں

ترے میکدے کے بلانوش مے کش
نہ جن دیکھتے ہیں نہ رم دیکھتے ہیں

وہ گزرے ہیں موٹر سے پکی سڑک پر
عبث لوگ نقشِ قدم دیکھتے ہیں

بہت دن رہے آپ پنڈی میں بلبلؔ
چلو اب چلیں تورخم دیکھتے ہیں

The next date I could establish was an assignment under the British colonial army in Burma during the Second World War and then in raavalpinDi in 1948. Sometime later he seems to have moved and established residence in London from where his collection of humour poetry was published in 1985. This Ghazal in the zamin of Ghalib’s ‘jahaaN tera naqsh-e qadam dekhte haiN’ is linked to ‘Ghalib naqsh-e qadam’.

There are many interesting and humorous implications. We are obsessed with curly hair so much that all we see is a blurred image. If we could see clearly, we would not fall for this. Or, curly hair are tangled and appear fuzzy.
