lahu ka suraaGh-faiz

lahu ka suraGh – faiz ahmed faiz

Click here for overall comments and on any passage for word meanings and discussion.  faiz is calling attention to the everyday death of the poor … death due to hunger, exposure, poverty. This is not a grand or dramatic death that makes news. In “dhuaaN”, maKhdoom too is calling attention to the blood of the peasant and is much more explicit in blaming capitalist oppression.
