اے شخص اگر جوشؔ کو تو ڈھونڈھنا چاہے

وہ پچھلے پہر حلقۂ عرفاں میں ملے گا

۲

اور صبح کو وہ ناظر نظارۂ قدرت

طرفِ چمن و صحنِ بیاباں میں ملے گا

۳

اور دن کو وہ سرگشتۂ اَسرار و معانی

شہرِ ہنر و کوئے ادیباں میں ملے گا

۴

اور شام کو وہ مردِ خدا رِندِ خرابات

رحمت کدۂ بادہ فروشاں میں ملے گا

۵

اور رات کو وہ خلوتئ کاکُل و رُخسار

بزمِ طرب و کوچۂ خوباں میں ملے گا

۶

اور ہوگا کوئی جبر تو وہ بندۂ مجبور

مُردے کی طرح کلبۂ احزاں میں ملے گا

अए शख़्स अगर जोश को तू ढूँढना चाहे

वो पिछले पहर हल्क़ा-ए-इरफ़ाँ में मिलेगा

और सुब्ह को वो नाज़िर-ए-नज़्ज़ारा-ए-क़ुद्रत

तरफ़-ए-चमन-ओ-सहन-ए-बयाबाँ में मिलेगा

और दिन को वो सर-गश्ता-ए-अस्रार-ओ-म’आनी

शहर-ए-हुनर-ओ-कू-ए-अदीबाँ में मिलेगा

और शाम को वो मर्द-ए-ख़ुदा रिंद-ए-ख़राबात

रहमत-कदा-ए-बादा-फ़रोशाँ में मिलेगा

और रात को वो ख़ल्वती-ए-काकुल-ओ-रुख़्सार

बज़्म-ए-तरब-ओ-कूचा-ए-ख़ूबाँ में मिलेगा

और होगा कोई जब्र तो वो बंदा-ए-मज्बूर

मुर्दे की तरह कल्बा-ए-अहज़ाँ में मिलेगा

bazm4-e tarab5 o koocha-e-KhoobaN6 meN milega  
1.intimate, familiar 2.hari, curls, locks 3.cheeks, face, beauty 4.gathering 5.comfort, luxury 6.street of beauties/beloved
And at night he, familiar with the beautiful locks of the beloved will be found comfortable in the company of beauties.

murde3 ki tarah kalba4-e-ahzaN5 meN milega
1.oppression, injustice 2.helpless man 3.corpse 4.room, home 5.sorrowful, distressed
He characterized himself as “helpless” in the sense that he cannot help himself, his passion is aroused and he cannot resist. If there is any injustice anywhere, than that “helpless” man will be found, mournful like a corpse (sharing their sorrow) among the oppressed.
